A When Bearing Witness Alumni × MemoryFox Special Event

Ready to put trauma-informed storytelling principles into practice?

In this special hands-on workshop from When Bearing Witness and MemoryFox, we’ll explore how to build a story collection campaign that centers care, consent, safety, and storyteller agency from the very beginning.

Together, we’ll walk through the campaign-building process and consider how choices like your campaign goal, invitation language, story prompts, consent process, and contributor experience can help create a safer, more intentional way to gather stories.

You’ll have time to build your own campaign live in MemoryFox, with guidance and opportunities for feedback along the way.

By the end of the session, you’ll have:

  • A clear goal for your story collection campaign
  • Thoughtful prompts designed with the storyteller in mind
  • Consent and contributor experience built into your approach
  • A MemoryFox campaign ready to test or launch
  • A practical way to carry trauma-informed principles into your ongoing story collection

What to Bring

Come with a campaign idea, upcoming initiative, or community whose stories you hope to gather.

We’ll turn the principles you’ve been learning into a real story collection experience you can put into action.

Ready to Build Your Campaign?

Join us live on October 21 for this hands-on workshop and leave with a trauma-informed story collection campaign you can test or launch.
